How to use this QR code generator
- Enter the UPI ID, for example name@bank, and the payee name.
- Optionally add an amount and a note, then check the live preview.
- Scan with a UPI app and confirm the payee details before printing or displaying it.
When to use it
Accept UPI payments at a shop counter, market stall, invoice, or donation box in India.
Important limitations
This is a static payment request, not a merchant gateway. The UPI ID must be active, the payer confirms the amount, and a scan does not guarantee payment.
Static QR destinations cannot be edited after printing. Keep the original URL available or generate a new code when the content changes.
Common questions
Does the amount have to be fixed?
If you enter an amount it is included as a request; the payer can still confirm or edit it in their app. Leave it blank to let the payer enter any amount.
Is a UPI QR code safe to display?
A UPI ID is not a secret, but anyone who scans the code can see it. Display it only where you are comfortable receiving requests, and never share your UPI PIN.
